$1 Million winning Powerball ticket sold in the Capital Region

The Capital Region has a new millionaire… is it you??

A single ticket sold in Wisconsin matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing to win the third-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. The jackpot climbed to an estimated $768.4 million, with a cash option of $477 million.

Additionally, seven $1 million winning tickets were sold, including right here in the Capital Region. The lucky ticket was sold at LePage Destributing Inc, located at 342 Mohawk Street in Cohoes.

Wednesday night’s winning numbers were 16-20-37-44-62 with Powerball 12 and power play x3. To win the $1 million prize, a ticket needs to match all five numbers, excluding the Powerball.
