ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)— The Henry Johnson Charter School received it’s charter in 2005 and opened their doors two years later. The faculty and staff returned this week to work on professional development prior to classes starting up after Labor Day.
After morning workshops, they came to Washington Park to clean up the area around the schools name sake’s monument.
Dustin Mitchell, the schools principal says its about the school giving back to the community.
