Four people shot in early morning incidents in Albany

Albany, N. Y. (NEWS 10) - Albany police are investigating two separate shootings that left four people injured, one critically.

The first shooting came in around 1am Sunday in the area of Third street by North Swan street.

When officers arrived they found two men that had been shot. One man had a gunshot wound to the arm and the other man was hot in the torso.

Both men were transported to Albany Med. with non-life threatening injuries.

A third person was transported to Albany Memorial hospital prior to police arriving at the scene. That person's injuries are also non-life threatening.

In a separate shooting incident, a man was critically injured after being shot several times in the torso.

That shooting happened shortly before 2:30am in the 300 block of Orange street.

Police say the victims involved with both shootings are not cooperating with the investigation.
