Empire State Weekly SUNY Upstate Medical University COVID-19 Response & Rural Schools Education Cuts Impact


ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – SUNY Upstate Medical University has made several major advancements in fighting COVID-19 in New York. And that now includes FDA approval of their saliva swab test for expanded use. And rural schools across the state fear that they could be disproportionately affected by a looming 20% reduction in education funding if nothing changes on the federal level.
