ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) – UPDATE: (12/6/19 5:50 a.m.) Chrisler Avenue has reopened to traffic after crews responded to downed wires in the area Friday morning.
NEWS10 was told originally crews expected the area to be closed for hours as National Grid made repairs. But they were able to get things done quicker than expected.
Chrisler Avenue was reopened around 5:45 am Friday.
A section of busy road is closed due to downed wires.
Chrisler Avenue in Rotterdam is now closed between Cady Avenue and Hudson Street. National Grid is on scene.
