For the last five years, Chris Hughes has been fostering and caring for senior dogs. He and his wife have transformed their home to be totally pup-accessible to foster dogs that suffer from a variety of issues – like immobility, blindness and tumors.
Chris created the Mr. Mo Project to care for the dogs he says no one wants.
They’ve even gone so far as to sell their material items, from a hot tub to a wedding ring, to be able to afford the monthly expenses of taking care of them.
This afternoon Chris and Brownie made a special visit to DeNooyer Chrevolet to pick up a check worth more than $6,000. In November a portion of car sales went to help pay Mr. Mo Project’s vet bills, which average $35,000 per month.
