SANDGATE, Vt. (NEWS10) — Vermont State Police are investigating after a deadly crash in Sandgate Wednesday. Troopers responded to a car crash just after 4 p.m. on the S.E. Corners Road in Sandgate.
Police said a car driven by Daniel O’Brien, 77, of Sandgate was headed west on the road when he went off the road and hit a tree. O’Brien was pronounced dead at the scene.
O’Brien was driving a 2011 Nissan Sentra at the time of the crash, according to police. The investigation is still ongoing.
