ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – Animal shelters all across the state gathered Sunday for a presentation on animal cruelty at the Renaissance Hotel in Albany.
Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan was at the event to show her support of shelters across the state.
“I thought it was a great opportunity to come as mayor to not only welcome them to Albany but introduce them to our rescue dog. So it wouldn’t have been possible if we didn’t have a great rescue system here across the state of New York,” said Mayor Sheehan.
