Alleged abuser continually violates order of protection

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A local woman says her alleged abuser continues to violate an order of protection by taking advantage of new bail reform measures.

Instead of being jailed for violating a protective order, her alleged abuser is now under electronic monitoring, which she fears will not keep him away from her or her son.

The victim has stacks of police reports detailing threatening text messages and violent incidents, like the time the man threw a brick through her car windshield and slashed her tires.
