ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Albany Police Department is asking members of the public to please review and provide any recommendations on the proposed body camera policy.

This first one is a draft. Once a specific camera vendor is chosen, the other aspects of the policy will be developed with further public input.

Also, on Tuesday, June 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., there will be a community forum on body worn cameras at the Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Avenue where Chief Cox and other Albany Police Department members will be discussing the policy and taking questions.
