ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — An Albany man will serve 20 years in prison for his role in a 2022 shooting. Eugene Royal, 31, was sentenced after he was convicted of Assault in March.
Royal is accused of shooting a 20-year-old man in the face in February 2022 on Albany Street. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were also issued two orders of protection.
