RENSSELAER, N.Y, (NEWS10) – On July 12 at around 4 a.m., the Troy Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm at 455 10th Street.

When the first Police and Fire units arrived they successfully gained entrance to the building and safely rescued a victim on the first floor. According to the Fire Chief that was the only person who was in the building and they suffered no injuries.

The fire was on the second story and firefighters worked for over an hour to put it out.

Red Cross was contacted for the individuals affected by the fire.
