The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Matt Mackie:
Cool and rainy today! After a few showers yesterday from a passing cold front, temps dropped into the 40’s overnight.

Now an incoming area of low pressure keeps us damp & dreary all day. Expect steadiest rain this morning and into the early afternoon. In the hours leading up to sunset, rain may lighten up a bit. A few snowflakes could mix in over the mountains up north.

Between the clouds and raindrops, there’s not much sun today – which means not much warming! We spend all day in the 40’s.

Temperatures fall to the upper 30’s or low 40’s overnight with perhaps a bit of a lull in the rain. We struggle to hit 50 in many spots tomorrow afternoon with more showers and clouds.

Like today, rain appears to be steadiest in the morning, with only a leftover shower or two later on. We think, on the whole, the afternoon looks drier but there will still be a leftover shower or sprinkle here or there.

Finally dry and brighter for Halloween – not too spooky of a forecast! It’s still on the cool side though, with temperatures probably in the low to mid 40’s for trick or treating.

A passing coastal storm could send a couple showers our way Wednesday, especially south and east of Albany. There’s a chance that wintry mix or light snow falls over high spots in the Catskills, Berkshires, or Green Mountains where temperatures will be running cooler. Warmer and dry for the rest of the work week, with highs in the 50’s.
