We had a big break in the cold weather pattern Wednesday…as temps climbed to 35 to 40. Late tonight (10pm)….temps are 20 to 30 degrees warmer than 24 hours ago…check out North Creek.

Today’s High Temps was 39….4 degrees above normal…Check out 51 years ago…the Coldest temp ever for Albany……

Surface Maps…..After a mild day….Cold front pushes through late tonight….along this front…a band of light snow will scoot south of us…may clip southern Columbia and Berkshire counties early in the morning. Then a push of breezy and much colder air….back to Frigid weather on Friday into Saturday.

FUTURECAST…..Cold Front moves through tonight with a narrow band of light snow sliding up along this front just to our south early in the morning. Then clearing out…..colder air pours in. Then MUCH colder air on Friday…back to Frigid and dry weather

7 and 10 Day Forecast……Overall a cold and quiet weather pattern. Weak storm slips south tomorrow…A storm will be offshore on Saturday. By Tuesday…..some of the data suggests there could be some snow, but right now there is not much agreement in the models.
