Jill joined NEWS 10 ABC in June 2020 as the morning meteorologist.
She came to the Capital Region from the horse capital of the world – Lexington, KY. During her four years at WLEX, she tracked everything from tornadoes and severe storms, to (some) snow and ice, to flooding. She also had the opportunity to broadcast live from the Kentucky Derby, Keeneland, a PGA tour event, and many other community events. Her career began at WDTV in Clarksburg, WV.
Jill grew up in western Pennsylvania. Snowstorms, a tornado in downtown Pittsburgh, and flooding episodes sparked her interest in the weather during middle school. She went on to receive a bachelor of science degree in meteorologist with a minor in communication from Saint Louis University. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society and holds the prestigious Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal.
In her free time, Jill enjoys cooking and baking, taking dance classes, and practicing yoga. Year-round she cheers on all of the teams that sport the black and gold – the Steelers, the Pirates, and the Penguins. She is thrilled to call Upstate New York her new home.
