Born Jesse James in California, James lived a bicoastal life growing up, raised in both Upstate N.Y. and California. James graduated with honors and dean’s list at SUNY Schenectady. He went on to UAlbany where he earned a BA Journalism degree with a minor in Communications. He graduated in 2022.
James believes his biggest responsibility as a journalist is providing a voice for those who would otherwise be silent.
James enjoys the outdoors and world travel. He is most likely vacationing on a cruise ship, or somewhere exotic. He prefers cats to dogs and is deathly afraid of spiders and heights. His family is number one in his life.
