Brandon A. Williams is a Sports Anchor/Reporter for WTEN ABC 10 News in Albany, New York. Born and raised in the DMV area Brandon is a product of the PGCPS school system and a former student at Prince George’s Community College. During his time at PGCC Brandon was heavily involved in the mass comm department and made his anchoring debut on SportsNest “A Salute to Excellence.”
After his time at PGCC Brandon transferred to the illustrious Bowie State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a focus in Broadcast Journalism. During his time at BSU Brandon was involved in BSU-TV, The Lunch Table LLC and was a founding member of the Bowie State University Association of Black Journalists. Williams served as an anchor, reporter and on-air host. He’s covered 2 CIAA Football championships and 3 CIAA Basketball tournaments.
Williams is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists. When Brandon is not covering sports in the Capital Region you can find him on the couch watching sports, out soaking in the sights while enjoying some good food, or working out in the gym.
