4/16/18: Wind remains an issues.... some hope in the extended forecast....

4/16/18: Wind is easing up.... still unsettled the next 36 hours....

Latest Storm Tracker Forecast by Steve Caporizzo, Tim Drawbridge, and Christina Erne

Latest Surface Analysis shows our system tracking into the northeast for tonight....

so, we'll continue the shower threat with a heavier burst of rain possible this evening....

as the shower threat diminishes overnight.  Lows will be in the lower 30s in the Adirondacks with upper 30s and lower 40s around the Capital Region.

The breeze remains an issue on Tuesday as skies will be mostly cloudy....

and, we look for a shower threat in the valley locations with a snow / sleet shower threat in the high terrain.  Highs will be mainly in the 40s region-wide.

Things are looking somewhat brighter Wednesday....

as the wind eases up and the shower threat will be north of Albany.

We'll all deal with an unsettled day Thursday....

before we finally get back to some nice, typical mid-April weather heading into and through the weekend....

Have a good night....
Cap, Christina, and TD
