Here is the latest NEWS10 ABC Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologist Andy Gregorio
Relatively mild and an active unsettled weather pattern..
===================================
Our weather will stay relatively milder than normal through Friday and it will also be quite active in an unsettled way. The active weather will be tied to a series of weather disturbances that will be whizzing across the area through Saturday.
One is moving through this morning with clouds and some wet snow and/or rain that will end early this morning. Dry weather (for the most part) will follow this afternoon.
Tonight system number dives southeastward from the Great Lakes to NY State by tomorrow morning. This system will spread rain and wet snow our way. Once again wet snow will be most likely occur over the higher terrain with the potential for a few inches accumulation over the Adirondacks and 1-2 inches across the Greens and northern Berkshires. Snow and rain will taper off and end by tomorrow morning before sunrise.
During Thursday night through Friday yet another strong low will approach from the southwest and this will cause another burst of rain and/or wet snow to overspread our area. Newest weather data is indicating that this storm could track to our south - not far south to NOT affect us but rather far enough south to allow colder air to remain to the North and northwest of Albany allowing for the possibility of mostly wet snow. We'll have to watch this low very closely.
On Saturday strong winds and colder air will move our way with snow showers likely. There could be some heavy upslope snow on Saturday (with accumulations) across the Taconics, Berkshires and Greens.
