A Cohoes man is accused of offering illegal massage services online and then inappropriately touching his customers. Police say no victims of Keith Comire have come forward yet, but they believe they're out there.
Comire faces several charges, including sexual abuse and prostitution. Police say he advertised illegal massage services on the popular website Craigslist.
This isn't the first time Comire has been in trouble with the law. He was arrested last year for attempting to pay someone to have sex with a 5-year-old girl.
NEWS10's Nicol Lally talked with neighbors about these allegations.
Keith Comire is out of jail and not talking about the allegations against him. He was arrested Wednesday in his Cohoes home, accused of running a massage parlor without a license, and investigators say that's not all he was doing.
"He grabbed an on duty investigator in the crotch area. You can't go doing that," said John Burke, an Inspector with the Albany County Sheriff's Department.
According to the Sheriff's office, it got calls about an ad on Craigslist said to be Comine's. They say the 50-year-old was using the company name "Tantra Massage by Erik", offering his services for $60 to $75 per session.
Comire is accused of operating his massage business out of a second floor apartment on Walnut Street. Police say while what was going on inside that apartment was very disturbing, what may be more disturbing in this case is the fact that there's a middle school just at the end of the street.
John Van Zandt, who lives down the street from the apartment, told NEWS10, "Oh my god, so close to the home, I didn't know that,"
Van Zandt has lived in the neighborhood for 36 years, and says the charges are shocking in a place he describes as quiet and friendly.
"We have a lot of kids out here and everything. This is not a place for somebody like that," Van Zandt continued.
Last year, Comire was released on $25,000 bail after allegedly trying to arrange to have sex with a five-year-old in Oklahoma. That case is still pending.
