Albany County's nursing home is cited by the Health Department after a patient turns up missing for more than three hours.
The State Health Department says it was the morning of April 29 when staffers discovered that a resident was not in their room. The "immediate jeopardy" citation is routine in cases like this.
Nursing home officials say disciplinary action is being taken against the workers who failed to keep an eye on the resident. They also tell us additional security and new staff training measures are already in place.
The resident was not hurt.
