Sheriff: Man threatened victim with machete in parking lot
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - The Warren County Sheriff's Office say they have arrested a man for menacing.
On Wednesday shortly before 3 p.m., police received a report of a male subject who had been assaulted by a group of individuals at the Cumberland Farms store located on Main Street in Queensbury. Authorities had a description of the vehicle the suspect's fled in and the vehicle was stopped in Glens Falls.
Upon investigation, authorities determined that Jammel Dillon, 24, had displayed a machete in a threatening manner towards the victim in the parking lot of the Cumberland Farms.
The Sheriff's Office says that while officers tried to take Dillon into custody, he fled on foot and was caught after a short foot pursuit.
Dillon was charged with the felony of criminal possession of a weapon in the third, menacing second and resisting arrest.
