MENANDS, N.Y. - Free Feline Friday is back at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

Every cat six months and older will be free and kittens up to six months old will be $25.

Those looking to adopt a new family member can do so from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society or PetSmart Stores in Glenmont and Clifton Park.

Every cat ready for adoption has been vaccinated, sprayed or neutered.

"We take in over 6,000 animals a year. This time of year cats come in.. We get a lot of cats that come in with babies, a lot of kittens. So we are really at capacity with cats. And that's generally why we choose to do a program like this," said Tina Murray Director of Operations.

The MHHS is currently caring for over 200 cats.
