ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan is announcing a city-wide food drive that is kicking off.
Albany is partnering with the Food Pantries for the Capital District. Key Bank is sponsoring the drive, which will run from Monday through August 8.
The food drive will help to stock the shelved of dozens of pantries in the area. During the drive, 13 Albany businesses will be accepting pasta, canned goods, and other non-perishable foods to help feed families.
