Troy PD asks for public’s help in 25-year old cold case

TROY, N.Y. -- The Troy Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a 25-year old cold case.

This week marks the 25th anniversary of the homicide of 9-year old Mei Ling White.

Mei-Ling went missing from the Phelan Court Apartments on Friday, July 21, 1989. Her deceased body was found four days later on Tuesday, July 25, 1989 in a wooded area surrounding the south and west portions of the Phelan Court Apartments.

The case has remained unsolved, but detectives are still working to find her killer.
