Sheriff: Three arrested after investigation into stolen vehicle report

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. - Three people have been arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office after an investigation into a stolen vehicle report.

According to the sheriff's office, authorities received a report of a stolen vehicle from Ryan Warner, 32, on July 15.

Shortly after the report was filed, the vehicle was located unoccupied. An investigation led to the arrested of Swade Shattuck, 37, and Steven Stangle, 32. The two Ballston Spa men have been charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree. They were arraigned on July 21. 

The sheriff's office says that during the course of the investigation, the owner of the stolen vehicle, Warner, was arrested for allegedly growing cannabis. He was charged with unlawfully growing cannabis.
