ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The incumbent Democrat running for New York state comptroller reports raising $1.17 million in donations over the past six months, giving him a balance of $2.78 million for the campaign.

Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli reports spending $483,000 for the period. His largest donations are $25,000 each from the Consumer Advocacy Political Action Committee, Nassau County PBA PAC and from 80th Realty LLC in New Hyde Park.

A report at the state Board of Elections for the Republican challenger, Onondaga County Comptroller Robert Antonacci, shows a campaign balance of about $30,700 with both receipts and expenses for the period of $14,700.

Antonacci, a lawyer and accountant, has said he will participate in the state's pilot public financing program for the comptroller's race, authorizing a 6-to-1 match for the first $175 of an individual contribution.
