Men wanted for Atlantic City shooting arrested in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. – Two men wanted for an Atlantic City shooting have been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Albany.
According to the Albany Division of the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force, they arrested Tajideen Austin, 20, and Anthony Vaughn, 19, both of New Jersey. The arrested was made on Monday at 21 Bradford Street in Albany.
The men were arrested of charge related to a shooting that happened in Atlantic City on June 8, 2014.
Authorities say Austin and Vaughn were wanted on warrants out of Atlantic City. The pair faces multiple counts of aggravated assault, conspiracy and weapons offenses. They were allegedly involved in a shooting that happened inside the Stanley Holmes Housing Complex in Atlantic City. One individual was struck during the shooting but survived.
Following the arrests, the men were charged as Fugitives from Justice. They have been remanded to the Albany County Jail, and will await extradition back to Atlantic City.
