Young girl helps save motorcyclist

BETHLEHEM, N.Y. – A young girl helped save a motorcyclist who crashed his bike Friday.

The motorcyclist was riding a Harley Davidson when he went off Creble Road and down an embankment near the Selkirk Rail Yards. The man was in the embankment for more than an hour.

Det. Sgt. Adam Hornick of the Bethlehem Police Department said a young girl on her bike rode past the scene and heard the man’s cries for help. She called 911, and the man was taken to Albany Medical Center with what police said appear to be minor injuries.
