ALBANY, N.Y.—The State Education Commissioner, John King, addressed more than 800 teachers and administrators in town training on Common Core standards.
The event is part of the State Education Department’s 20th network team institute.
The week-long event at the New York State Museum wrapped up Friday. The focus was on educators from across the state coming together to share the best ways to implement common core standards in the classroom.
Commissioner King called the event one of the most effective common core development initiatives in the country.
