CLERMONT, N.Y.—Two Clermont residents were charged after State Police conducted a sex offense investigation.
On July 4, State Police were dispatched to investigate the alleged sex offense that occurred in the town of Clermont in June of 2013.
Shayne Stanton, 21, was charged with Sexual Misconduct after subsequent investigation revealed he had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old.
Lisa Parkinson, 55, was also charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child after police learned she was aware of the relationship.
Parkinson and Stanton are due back in court on July 10 at 5 p.m.
