Four arrested after search warrant reveals weapon, heroin
TROY, N.Y. – Troy Police have arrested three men and one teenager after a search warrant was executed at an apartment.
According to Troy Police, on Monday around 9:30 p.m., the Troy Police Department Firearms Interdiction and Narcotics Suppression Unit (FINS) served a search warrant to the first floor of 313 9th Street.
Police say that the search warrant was the result of an investigation by FINS and the NYS Police CNET. The investigation led police to believe that there was a possibility of firearms in the apartment.
Authorities say they located one loaded .357 magnum handgun with additional ammunition. They also located about 30 packets of heroin.
The four people inside the apartment at the time have been arrested.
Police have charged Jacob Cargill, 22, Joshua Vega, 22, Larenzo Lamont Escobales, 19, and Zaequan Morrsion, 16 with criminal possession of a weapon in the second, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third.
Troy Police K-9s also assisted in the arrest of the four suspects.
