Police arrest two for July Fourth “pipe bomb”

COLONIE, N.Y. – Colonie Police arrested two men who they said threw a pipe bomb on the Fourth of July.

Police said 21-year-old William Curry and 22-year-old Andrew Wilson, both of Colonie, threw a bottle filled with an M-80 and BB gun pellets at a car on McNutt Avenue on July 4.

Both were arrested and released. They were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon with Intent to Use, Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Mischief/Intent to Damage Property.
