Albany man arrested for July Fourth stabbing

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Albany Police Department arrested a city man for an alleged stabbing.

Albany officers responded to the area of Lark Street and Spruce Street around 1:30 p.m. July 4 for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers learned two male victims had been stabbed and transported to Albany Medical Center.

Police spoke with the victims, ages 21 and 24, were being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Police continued their investigation into the incident and arrested 31-year-old Sean Pacheco. Pacheco was charged with Assault in the First Degree and Assault in the Second Degree.

He was arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
