MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y. - As summer starts, so does the dangers of overheating.
Montgomery County has released a public service announcement about their cooling stations that are available during the summer.
The cool stations are located in the following areas:
Amsterdam - Horace Inman Center at 53 Guy Park Avenue, Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday and Thursdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Canajoharie - Canajoharie Library at 2 Erie Boulevard, Tuesday and Wednesday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Fultonville – Town of Glen Town Office Building at 7 Erie Street Fultonville, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Fort Plain – VFW Post 3275 at 30 River Street, Monday to Friday 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
St. Johnsville – St. Johnsville Community Center and Village Hall at 16 Washington Street, Monday toThursday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Friday's 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
