ALBANY, N.Y.—An iconic fixture is back at the port of Albany after spending some time in Staten Island undergoing repairs.
The return of the iconic vessel arrived just in time for the Fourth of July weekend.
Those who run the ship hope to have it opened for tours over the weekend.
Most of the renovations to the slater won’t be noticeable to the average visitor.
The only exception will be its new camouflage paint job, much like the one it donned back in 1945.
