Crews clean up 100 gallon oil spill in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - Environmental clean-up crews were at the Port of Albany to clean-up a 100 gallon oil spill.

Richard Hendrick, the general manager at the port, said the spill was contained by the afternoon on Sunday and that no oil got into the Hudson river.

Albany's River Port has emerged as a major hub for shipments of crude oil, prompting concerns from environmental groups and some residents about the hazards, such as spills and fires, associated with shipping crude oil.
