State Police request public assistance in locating two missing teens

LIVINGSTON, N.Y.—The State Police in Livingston are requesting the public’s assistance to help locate two missing girls from Ancram, New York.

The two teens were last seen at the Berkshire Girls home on June 25, 2014 at 3:30 p.m.

Christine Bitting, 17, was last seen wearing white shorts, black boots, and a grey/black tank top. She is approximately 5’7”, 125 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Breanna LaJoie, 15, is approximately 5’2”, weighs 100 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings with a black stripe on the side, and a black tank top. Breanna has family in the Troy area.

Police ask anyone who knows the whereabouts of Bitting or LaJoie to contact them at 845-677-7300 or dial 911.
