State Police: Teen accused of stealing car from Ghent church

GHENT, N.Y. – A teenager is accused of stealing a car from a church.

According to State Police, authorities arrested Daniel Graziano, 17, after a traffic stop on Monday.

During the traffic stop, a Trooper determined the vehicle the teen was operating was owned by the Bible Baptist Church of Ghent. 

Upon further investigation on Tuesday, State Police determined that Graziano had allegedly burglarized the local church, stole the keys to the car, and stole the church vehicle from the parking lot.

The teen was arrested on burglary in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, both felonies.
