ALBANY, N.Y. - Two local colleges will announce an agreement that will provide more opportunities for students.
A new transfer agreement between the College of Saint Rose and Schenectady County Community College will help Capital Region students earn four year degrees in music.
The articulation agreement spells out the specific courses students need to take at SCCC so they can enter Saint Rose as a junior. SCCC students who complete a two-year associate degree in performing arts music can then move on to the bachelor's degree programs in music or music industry at Saint Rose.
Saint Rose has articulation agreements with other community colleges and the school says they continue to explore opportunities with SCCC for agreements between more programs of study.
