Three men arrested, accused of stealing from county owned building

GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Police say they have arrested three men after authorities received a report of a burglary in progress.
According to Gloversville Police, on Monday they were called to 4 Thompson Avenue for a reported burglary in progress at a vacant building owned by Fulton County.
Upon arrival, police located three men inside the building along with a pickup truck they were using to remove property from inside the building. George Russell, 59, Richard Jackson, 34, and Craig Teater, 41, were taken into custody.
During the course of the investigation, police say they discovered that the men were removing cabinets and exercise equipment, as well as copper pipe and wiring.
They were taken to the station where they were all charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony, criminal mischief in the third degree, a class felony and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
They were arraigned in Gloversville City court and both Russell and Jackson were sent to Fulton County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail. Teater was sent to Fulton County Jail with no bail set.
