Home health aid accused of stealing EBT card from a client
GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - State Police say they arrested a home health aid and charged her with four felonies.
According to State Police in Mayfield, a brief investigation with the Fulton County Department of Social Services led to the arrest.
Shirlee Richtmyer, 42, is accused of utilizing the EBT card of one of her clients to make about $1,900.00 worth of food stamp purchases at Walmart
Richtmyer has been charged with grand larceny in the fourth, identity theft in the second, welfare fraud in the fourth, and misuse of food stamps. She was arraigned in the City of Gloversville Court and remanded to Fulton County Jail in lieu of $2,500.00 cash or $5,000.00 bond.
