Mechanicville water to shut down on Tuesday for maintenance

MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. - Mechanicville Police say the Department of Public Works has advised of a water shut down happening this week.

According to police,  on Tuesday June 24, there will be maintenance on the water system. The shut down is expected between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the area of South Main Street, Newman Avenue, Lee Street, Ensign Avenue, Riverside North and South, Arnold Avenue, Bloss Driveway, Alexander J, Bennington Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, Zachary M, and Saratoga County Sewer. 

A Boil Water Advisory will be issued for all of the affected streets. Water supply may be restored earlier.
