FULTONVILLE, N.Y. - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says they are currently investigating two robberies that occurred at the AM Best truck stop in Fultonville.
According to authorities, the first incident occurred on March 10, around 1 a.m. The second robbery happened on June 15 around 2:20 a.m.
Authorities believe that the same suspect committed both robberies.
The suspect is described as 5'9’’ to 5'11’’, about 180 pounds, with short, blonde hair. He allegedly displayed a knife in both incidents.
The Sheriff’s Office says that during the first incident, the suspect fled the scene on foot headed west on Riverside Drive, then south on Schlote Avenue. During the second incident, the suspect fled in a 2004-2007 Ford Freestar, gray or tan with black door handles and black door trim. The vehicle fled the scene west on Riverside Drive.
During the first incident, the male suspect was wearing a grey jacket, dark pants, and a purple bandanna over his face with pink gloves. During the second incident, the male suspect was wearing a dark blue hoodie, a pink or purple bandana over face, pink gloves and black and white checkered pajama bottoms.
