Police: Body pulled from Hudson River

MENANDS, N.Y. - Troy Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been recovered from the Hudson River.

According to authorities, on Sunday morning, the body was discovered on the west side of the Hudson River along the Menands shoreline. The body was transported to the Corning Preserve boat launch.

Police say they believe the  body is of the man who recently jumped into the river.

The name of the man is not being released pending notification to next of kin. 

Since the original incident, there has been a large number of agencies assisting in the search and subsequent recovery of the victim. The body has been secured by the Albany County Coroner's office.
