SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. – Republican Gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino visited Saratoga County on Saturday.
The Westchester County Executive stopped by the former Zurlo headquarters in Halfmoon before heading back home. This was part of his campaign tour for New York Governor. He rallied those who came out to show their support, addressing what he feels needs to be changed in New York State.
“Living in New York has become like a prison sentence, people count the number of days before they can leave,” he said.
According to the latest Siena College Poll, Rob Astorino has his work cut out for him. At this time, when it comes to running against Cuomo, the poll shows Cuomo has a huge lead over his challenger.
Astorino remains pretty much unknown to more than two-thirds of New York voters.
The results show that Cuomo has a 36-point lead, coming in with 57-percent of registered voters polled.
Astorino sits at 21-percent.
