ALBANY, N.Y.—After two Cohoes men were caught selling drugs out of their apartment, one was arrested, and one is still wanted.
Nicholas Straker, 29, was arrested on June 16, 2014 after a four month long investigation.
Straker was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third and fifth degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Criminal Possession of Firearm, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Sheriff Investigators received information four months ago that Straker, and his roommate Christopher Grant, 23, were selling drugs out of their apartment.
It was also learned that the two were in possession of illegal handguns.
Straker was arraigned in Cohoes Court and held at the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail. Grant remains at large and wanted for charges stemming from the incident.
Grant is described as 5’10” and 160 pounds, and may be in possession of a silver handgun.
The sheriff’s office is seeking help from the public in locating him. Anyone with information is asked to call authorities at 518-720-8075.
