Police: Two men arrested after reported dispute in Saratoga
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Two men have been arrested after a reported dispute at home on Ferndell Springs Drive.
According to Saratoga Springs Police, Jason Mallaney, and Tyrone Howard, both 33, were arrested on Tuesday around 11:45 p.m.
A female caller reported that an unknown person, later identified as Howard, came to the door of her home and asked to speak with a male who was in the home.
When the male came to the door, police say Howard displayed a knife and attempted to stab the man. The victim immediately closed the door to the home. There were no injuries.
Upon investigation by police, Howard and Mallaney were acting together during the incident. It is alleged that Mallaney was seen standing in the street right in the front of the residence while Howard stood at the door.
Police said witnesses observed the two men standing together in front of the home and walked away together prior to police arrived to the scene. The men were quickly apprehended.
As police arrived to the scene, Howard and Mallaney were taken into custody
Howard has been charged with menacing in the second, criminal possession of a weapon in the third, false impersonation, unlawful possession of marijuana, criminal facilitation in the fourth, and conspiracy in the fifth.
Mallaney has been charged with criminal facilitation in the fourth, conspiracy in the fifth, obstruction governmental administration in the second and unlawful possession of marijuana.
