LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y.-- A Lake Luzerne man was arrested after backing in to a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle on Tuesday.
The Sheriff vehicle was parked and backed into by Erik Codacovi, 44, at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday night.
After an investigation, it was determined that Codacovi was driving while intoxicated and a breath test indicated that he had a BAC of .08 percent.
Codacovi’s license was currently suspended at the time of the arrest due to a recent conviction of driving while ability impaired by alcohol in April.
He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
Codacovi was released after posting bail of $750. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 25.
