CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. - A local priest, who is accused of endangering the welfare of a child, is scheduled to be in court.
James Michael Taylor, 30, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child in April.
Taylor, who is known as Fr. Michael, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old Clifton Park girl. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office say the relationship began in October 2013.
According to authorities, the relationship included physical contact, telephone calls, text messages, and photos.
Investigators say Taylor met the girl while serving as a deacon and youth minister at the Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake.
Taylor is expected to be in court on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
